Jay-Z Shutting Down The Streets Of New York For The Kids |

Jay-Z along with NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg have joined forces with Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan to announce the kickoff of Summer Streets, a pilot program that will close seven miles of city streets running from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park. Jay-Z, an avid bicyclist, was on hand to promote the initiative. Jay says it is an opportunity for teens to get involved in positive activities.
From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the next three Saturdays, the city will bar traffic along sections of Lafayette Street, Fourth Avenue, Park Avenue and 72nd Street.
I think this is pretty dope anything positive gets five stars in my book ha!
