We often hear stories during the holiday season that touch our heart and make us feel that there is still some good in the world and this is certainly one of them. NBA star Dwayne Wade who runs a foundation that helps underprivileged kids decided to help out a family from Florida who's home was accidentally burned down. His Wade's World foundation will make payments on the family's home to get them back on their feet.

No matter what you believe or where you are from you have to admit that the holiday season is a pretty special time, it is a time where people of all backgrounds come together in peace and harmony. So if its Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or other that you celebrate I really hope that this time of the year brings you much joy.

The man everyone loves to hate Orenthal James "O. J." Simpson got the book thrown at him today at court for his sentencing kidnapping and armed robbery, he was hit with a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 33 years in the state pen.

This comes more than ten years after he was acquitted for the murder of his wife, some say this is karma I just say it was a foolish move for a 61 year old man to make.

MTV is hosting inaugural ball for President-elect Barack Obama.

The network announced Tuesday that it will host the "Be the Change Inaugural Ball" at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington on Jan. 20. The event will be televised live across MTV's many channels and platforms, including MTV and MTV.com.

This should be pretty cool considering Barack was a huge hit with Younger people in the recent election.

At a Gotham Magazine event Tuesday night Beyonce told reporters "I know I'll definitely be there [at the swearing in],".  "I want to be there to witness it."

As for performing, she added, "Of course I'd love to. Who wouldn't?"
